Happy Valentines day!

I just wanna start out with wishing all of you pretty ladies the happiest Valentines day ever! <3
I hope your loved one is spoiling you rotten with all things wonderful :)

 

 

I woke up to flowers, chocolate and movie tickets, it was really cute. I made Josh a padded camera bag, in his favorite color, green, of course. It has individual pockets for his lenses, and a removable divider for his camera, flash and stuff like that. Fun!

 

  

  

I am spending the day alone, as  Josh went sailing. I'm kinda bummed about that, but he hasn't been sailing since we lived in Maine, and he has however spent every day with me since we both aren't working, so I guess that's fair.

I made sushi for lunch, so good! I found a knitting pattern for a cute little vest that I plan to knit for my nephew, yay! I will definitely share pictures once it's done :)

 

I also promised I would share some cuteness I've been working on. I still can't ever get enough of those Russian nesting dolls, I hope to one day have a huge collection of Matryoshkas :) My favorite is in Norway, I wish I had a picture to share!

 

I made these cute little dolls from fabric scraps, and then I embroidered their faces, and the rose on the one to the right. Cute!

 

  

I also made nesting doll soaps, I melted two different batches of soap, pink and white, and carved out the body, face and the flower. I wanted to put the dolls in soap bars, but misjudged the temperature, and ultra clear soap base amount, and found out the hard way that I didn't have enough, bummer.  Long story short, I screwed up the doll soaps.

 

I'm definitely gonna try again though. How cute would they be as soap bars!
