Happy New Year!

I don't know if anyone reads this anymore, but here's to making 2012 a more productive year! I've been so busy with work this last year, I barely had a chance to do anything but work on drawings, paintings and tattoo related art. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just miss working on other projects too!

With my Nikon pretty much only getting used for tattoo photos, I had decided to downgrade my craft supplies, and get rid of all paper, glue dots and everything else I hadn't used in the last year or so. I'm so glad I didn't. Spencer and I just got back from Norway, and even though I left my 1.4 50mm lens in Portland (yes, I'm a dummy) I took a ridiculous amount of photos. Some that definitely will get printed and scrapbooked. (yay!)

Since I haven't updated in forever I'll share what little I got done in 2011. I found a new obsession, terrarium craft. Who else is wishes they could live in one of these?

I started a modified Fana sweater for Spencer, and flew through the first sleeve only to discover I knitted it too tight. I guess I'll just unravel and start over. At least now I can take my time and hope to have it finished before next winter. Wish me luck!

New years resolutions never last, so I'll call mine wishes this time. In 2012 I wish to travel more, find a bigger apartment, with a designated craft space, be more creative outside of work, finish the quilt I started in 2010, be healthier and stay as busy at work as I was this last year, if not even busier. What are your hopes, dreams and wishes for 2012?

Until next time,
 S. <3

Totes still here...and I love those terrariums! I like your 2012 wishes. My biggest hope is to successfully carve a totem pole! I am always in awe of your knitting talent! Its a pity that you have to unravel that sweet sleeve you were making. I love your pictures from home. So pretty!! Hearts, Janna Lynn

I'm still reading! Happy New Year! My resolutions this year are to (finally, absolutely, and definitively) pay off my debts, to go on holiday by myself, and to de-clutter my living space a bit.

Totally still here! Happy new year! Loving the idea of wishes instead of revolutions, less pressure, more fun!
My wishes for 2012 small ones: Be healthier (not about weight, just lifestyle! Any lose of weight is a happy by-product); do a 52 project - one new craft item every week; and to cook one meal I have never cooked before once a month :) Yum!

Looking forward to reading more of you over the year :)
