I would say I'm pretty ready for 2010. The last 10 years have been quite the adventure, and it went by SO fast!..scary fast.
So I'm gonna share my new years resolutions, hoping that since I am not keeping them all to myself this time, I'll actually stick with it.
Ok, here we go.
* get a job. (...seems to be harder than I ever imagined it would be)
* get a gym membership. again. (...I would need some income to pay for a membership. hah.)
* eat less sugar.
* take more pictures. (my d300 is so lonely)
* dye my hair a fun colors again.
* travel more. (what the hell happened to me?)
* knit another pair of socks.
* buy some rain boots.
* be more patient.
* learn how to cook tofu. (I always screw it up)

saopy soaperson
I'm back as promised, with pictures from Christmas, and my newest obsession, soap.
I celebrated on the 24th, true Norwegian style. I watched three wishes for cinderella, home alone, the original of course. And I ate a delicious dinner.
Tofu with Sweet Cranberry Glaze, Sweet Potato Pie w/ Marshmallows of course, Apricot & Almond stuffing & Steamed Broccoli.
It was SO good. I ate so much food! I opened presents for hours, got stacks of fabric, and books. It was perfect!
My friend Shaun, who I used to live with when I first moved to KC, who now lives in Seattle, came and stayed with us on Christmas day, we played scrabble, did a 1000 piece puzzle, watched zombie land and I cooked savory tofu pastries, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, sweet carrots and gravy! Delicious!
For dessert, vegan crepes and homemade strawberry banana ice cream.
I took Shaun to the coast the next day, and we had the most beautiful weather. It was such a great day!
So I've been wanting to make soap for awhile now, and I am so glad I finally did! So much, fun, so messy, and super easy to clean up!
Perfect!
All these and more are up for sale in my Etsy shop!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

morfar, 75 år!
Today is my grandfathers 75th birthday!
I am sad to miss such an important event, but happy to hear he's having a lovely birthday with family and friends. Hearing his voice over the phone was amazing, I miss my grandpa so much.
This is last year, right before Christmas.
I've been busy with Etsy orders, thank you lovely ladies for stopping by! I had a custom mitten order that was a lot of fun! Thank you Emily for that little kick in the butt, it has been way too long since last time I knitted anything!
Cupcake is ready too!

Etsy makeover.
The checkbook covers sold out overnight, and to celebrate, I gave my Etsy store a little makeover. New banner, new bio, new picture, and so on. Cute!
I made a few fabulous bow clutches, all up for sale in my shop. Check back tomorrow for more clutches, and check book covers!
I also ordered some moo cards, about time, right? They're suppose to arrive on the 31st, I am so excited! I can't wait to get them! :)

a little bit of everything.
Going through, and editing the pictures for this post, I realized how incredibly busy I've been, and other than the two days spent in Bend, and walking the pups, I haven't been outside since we moved. Yikes.
I found time for scrapbooking, I knew staying up late was a good idea! I got two LO's done, plus I started a Christmas mini book, it's actually an old childrens book that I thrifted in Springfield, MO about a year and a half ago, turned into a mini album. So cute! I'm saving a few pages for our presents, food and other things that needs to be documented, but here's a little sneak peak.
and for the layouts,
I must say Otis is pretty darn handsome in his holiday attire :)
I sewed a million dog toys!
I also made a bag. Great for a knitter, I made sure to make it kinda roomy to fit yarn and projects.
I also made a few checkbook covers, which are up for sale in my Etsy store.
I finally got around to take a picture of the tree, it's so amazing, and it makes me so incredibly excited!
I keep adding more and more gifts everyday, I think we're running out of room!
Well that's all for now, I still have a few more things to make, and I am really excited to finally be scrapbooking again. I made sure to get lots of new papers to keep me inspired, so I'll be posting more soon :)
Haircut tomorrow maybe, keep growing it out, or change it up?
night, night <3
