step by step tea party.

I started on some sketches for my tattooed Alice in wonderland painting late last night, of course I had something totally different than I ended up with pictured in my head, but that's usually how it goes when I draw, I change my mind about 8 million times as I go.

I had originally planned to do some crazy looking trees and a table and stuff in the background, but it all ended up looking too busy, so I decided to only do Alice, a few mushrooms and two teapots. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

It was such a fun little project, so I wanted to share each step along the way from the sketch, to the final product :)

So here you go, my version of Alice in wonderland. 11x15". (click on the pictures for a better view of the details)

It's been a long day, Josh and I went all over the place, so I am super tired. I think I'll spend the rest of the night reading blogs, and catching up with stuff online.

I hope you all had a lovely Wednesday <3

xoxo.

Amazing work... I love all the artworks you've posted recently.
May I ask, is it all colored inks or inked lineart and watercolors? What brand?... I can never get my lineart to stay sharp, it always blends in and blotches with the colors... =__=
